The Suppliers that Côte Rely on to Bring You the Very Best French Wine #CoteToTable

Throughout October we are celebrating the very best of French wine. At Côte we believe that your food should be served to you by a passionate team of outstanding professionals, and that it should always be offered alongside a carefully selected French wine.

Every meal at Côte Brasserie begins with raw materials provided by our hand-picked suppliers We have selected each and every member of our team because of their love of French cuisine, their industry expertise and their attention to detail, which ensures they provide us with the very best food and drink supplies for our menus.

With this in mind, we’ve been exploring the amazing journey that our food takes as part of our #CoteToTable series. But having focussed largely on the food, we are now turning our attention to the wine!

Italian Sebastian was our first host as we began a tour of our incredible suppliers in the Languedoc region of Southern France. He invited us to the Argeliers winery, where we discovered the secret to producing their first-rate red and white wines lies in the time, care and attention they put into the grapes themselves.

Our next host was Raymond, who invited us to visit the 15th century Miquel family estate, Domaine de Barroubio. They are known for producing outstanding wines that are bottled on-site. Raymond especially enjoys producing wine that people can enjoy with their friends alongside great food in a fantastic restaurant atmosphere.

Our final host for the month was Arnaud in the hills of Château de Treviac. He selected the powerfully spicy aromas of the Château Treviac 2015 Corbières as a perfect accompaniment to our rump of lamb special. Arnaud taught us that the red wines they have been producing for Côte over the past 12 years are only possible due to the successful blend of Grenache and Syrah grapes.
